Unleashed to Live—The Ultimate Rescue

Professional fisherman and author Captain Dan Keating has spent much of his life battling big waves and storms. After years of trying to navigate the uncharted waters of life on his own he was rescued. Along tales of fish and squalls, Dan shares how the same life ring that pulled him into the boat of  life is available to all.

Speaker: Dan Keating  -- Dan is a professional fisherman, speaker, and founder of Two Fish Publishing. He is the author of three books and has produced two DVD’s. Dan spent much of his life as a rebel on the run. After capsizing his life on the reefs of addiction, he was rescued by the Eternal Fisherman. Today Dan passionately reaches out to men, helping them to understand God’s purpose and calling in life. Dan weaves stories, our love for the outdoors, and a man’s need to conquer challenges with the greatest story ever told, the Gospel of Jesus Christ. During the offseason Dan speaks at churches, sportsman’s dinners, men’s events and children’s events across the Midwest. When not on the water Dan enjoys spending time with his wife, Mary, and their four children.

In this session, Mike Harder will explain the four faces of an honorable man—faces which clearly point the way to be the kind of husband, dad, and man that God wants us to be.

Speaker: Mike Harder -- Mike is a 4th grade teacher and a graduate of the Moody Bible Institute. He is passionate about the Scriptures, discipleship, and men's ministry. Mike and his family attend the Chain of Lakes Community Bible Church where he serves as a teacher of discipleship. He is also actively involved in the CLCBC Men's Fraternity ministry.
