The Every Person Plan

Our vision is to see everyone at CLCBC become a fully-equipped, wholehearted disciple of Christ who loves others to Him.

Because we are committed to this vision, we are asking each person who attends our church to spend three units of time each week in pursuit of this goal.

These include:
* Joining us on Sunday mornings for worship and adult communities.
* Serving in a ministry to the body.
* Participating in a Life Transformation Group (LTG).

MORE INFO?
tn_LTG_logo.jpgWhat are they?
An LTG is a small group of believers in Christ (3-10 people) who gather together each week to grow in their relationships with God and one another.

Who can participate in an LTG?
Anyone who desires to become a fully equipped, whole-hearted disciple of Christ.

How are they formed?
Anyone can pull a group together by asking others to join. Anyone can register on Sunday mornings and be placed in a group based on common interests.  Call the church office at 847.838.0103 or e-mail Evey Pucel for more information.

When and where do they meet?
LTGs meet from 90-120 minutes at a time and place that is convenient for the group and determined by the group.

Why should you join an LTG?
God did not create us to thrive spiritually while living as isolated Christians. We are meant to live in community with other believers who are committed to helping us grow. LTGs help make this happen.

What does a typical LTG meeting look like?

Check-In:
The group members will share with one another how they are doing in their personal lives.
Prayer:
Then they will pray for one another and the church.
In the Word:
This discussion time will be based on the sermon delivered the previous Sunday. The emphasis will be on understanding and applying the Scriptures in relevant ways to our lives.
Growth questions:
These are previously agreed upon questions by the group that will be reviewed each week to help encourage spiritual growth. Common cause involvement: Each group will be asked to adopt a common cause in the community in order to tangibly demonstrate the love of Christ.

Because we understand that an LTG is vitally important to our spiritual growth and development, and Because we understand that an LTG is the primary way to connect with one another in meaningful relationships, and Because we understand that an LTG is a means by which we can impact our community with the love of Christ...
