Welcome to the Men’s Ministry web page. I am John Engberg, associate pastor of the Chain of Lakes Community Bible Church and director of the Men’s ministry. The men’s ministry exists to help men live life to the fullest. God is doing big things in the world today and we want to be a part of that.

Many men do not experience the life God intended because of a lack of mission and isolation. Men want to be connected to something bigger than themselves—to be a part of a winning team. Also, men often lack the willingness or ability to practice biblical openness—being honest about various parts of our lives, like temptations, doubts and struggles.

Our mission is to accomplish three goals:

1.) To help men develop male friendships.

2.) To help men grow spiritually.

3.) To help men develop a vision to serve others and build into others.
