Mission: Our in-prison ministry focuses on bringing worship services quarterly to the male inmates at the Racine Youth Offender's Facility

The worship services are coordinated with Chaplain C. Gordon We worship with young men are between ages of 17-23 in a medium security prison

On a typical SAT morning we leave CLCBC at 6:30 am. 8:00-9:00 am we open with prayer & music. A male volunteer shares from Bible. Volunteers have opportunity to share their testimonies in front of group or one-on-one with inmates.

The usual attendance is 20+ inmates.

Volunteers are always welcome! Our greatest need is for Bible teachers and music leaders.

Volunteers must be over 18 and submit identification information at least 3 weeks prior to visit. To register, call Heather DePasquale (847) 356-3640.

This is a great opportunity for those looking for worship ministry experience in a smaller setting, where the Gospel is given during service to encourage these young men in their faith to daily live for Christ in/out of prison.

We have seen many young men (inmates) develop in their faith and become leaders in the worship services.

In 2010 we will open up our ministry to opportunities within Lake County and network with other evangelical church prison ministries in our area. We are also in the process of developing a post-prison aspect to this ministry which will focus on after-care of a Christian brother or sister just coming out of prison.
